What does Privacy Cleaner Pro do?

Privacy Cleaner Pro is designed to protect you by cleaning up all the unwanted history data on your computer. With only one click, Privacy Cleaner Pro allows you to erase the cache, cookies, history, typed URLs, autocomplete memory, index.dat of your browser, and Window's temp folder, run history, search history, open/save history, recent documents, etc.

Why the index.dat file still exist after I erase them?

Index.dat stores information about what websites you have visited and what cookies have been saved, the index.dat files are always locked by the system when Windows is running and can not be deleted. You need to reboot your computer, Privacy Cleaner Pro overwrites these index.dat files with blank characters, others can see nothing useful form these files after erasing, so you do not have to worry about it. <Top>

Can Privacy Cleaner Pro erase the Search history when I click the Search button on Internet Explorer?

Yes, you can do that by checking the IE Autocomplete Memory item on Settings screen. <Top>

Why do the some browser history still there after erasing?

You should close all the browser windows before erasing, because the files can not be erased when they are in use. For MSN, AOL and Netscape, even you close all the windows of them, they may not close completely. please check the system tray (lower right area of the screen) to see if there is an icon of them, if you can find, click on it to close it. <Top>

What is File Shredder?

File Shredder is a small utility that will completely erase the contents of sensitive files and folders that you specify. When you delete a file from Windows, Windows just mark the file as deleted in file allocation table, but the data of the file is still in your hard disk, there are many tools available which can let others easily recover your sensitive files. File Shredder using Security Options to completely overwrites the contents of a file and then deletes it.<Top>

How long I will get my registration code after I place the order?

What is Secure Erasing?

When you delete a file from Windows, Windows just mark the file as deleted in file allocation table, but the data of the file is still in your hard disk, there are many tools available which can let others easily recover your sensitive files. What is Boss Key ?

Boss Key lets you to hide/show the browser windows and folder windows immediately by pressing the Hotkey Windows key +Z or Windows key + shift + Z. It's very useful when you are surfing some website , and then someone ( your boss or everyone you don't want to see your screen) walks in, you just press the Windows key and Z  keys, the browser windows and folder windows will all disappear, and when they go, you can press Windows key +shift +Z, these screen will show again. <Top>

How can I uninstall Privacy Cleaner Pro?

There are two ways to uninstall Privacy Cleaner Pro:
1. Make sure Privacy Cleaner Pro is Closed, Right Click on the System Tray Icon (next to your clock) and click exit.

1. What is Linren CD Ripper?
Linren CD Ripper is a piece of software for ripping audio CD tracks, converting audio formats. It supports ripping CDs to MP3, WAV, WMA, and OGG files. Linren CD Ripper  can also convert WAV to MP3,WMA and OGG files.

2. How to install Linren CD Ripper?
Before the installation, please see  System Requirements first to make sure that your PC meets the conditions.
Find the setup package you have downloaded from the website. It's an exe file, double click it to run it, then follow the prompts to finish the installation procedure.
After the installation, there is a shortcut created on the desktop and under the programs group, see it from "Start > Programs > Linren CD Ripper".

3. How to launch it?
When the Linren CD Ripper is installed successfully on to your computer, there should have a shortcut created on the desktop, you may double click it to launch it. You may also run it from "Start > Programs > Linren CD Ripper > Linren CD Ripper".

4. How to uninstall it from my computer?
For Windows 9x, Me, NT, 2000, please click "Start > Settings > Control Panel" .
For Windows XP, please click "Start > Control Panel".

5. How to set the output directory when converting CD to audio files?
Before ripping CDs to audio files, you can click "output directory" button to set  the output directory of audio files.

6. How to rename the default tracks' names?
The default tracks' names are "Tracks1" , "Tracks2", "Tracks3", ...
If you want to change these default named tracks, you may double click the item, then enter a different name when an input box is activated.
You can also click the list to highlight it, click the menu item "CD Ripper > Edit Tracks Name" to activate the input box.

7. What's the limitation of trial version?
The trial version will only allow you check the first 5 tracks.

8. Is technical support free?
Yes, the technical support is completely free. As to the registered users, we will try to reply all the messages within 24 hours. As to the unregistered users, we do not guarantee that all the messages will be replied although we will try our best.

1. What is Linren Sound Recorder?
Linren Sound Recorder is a sound recording program. You can use it to grab any sound, including music, dialogs from movies, game sounds etc from your local computer or the internet. Captured sounds can be saved in wav, mp3, Vox, G271, G273, G276, G279, OGG, AC3 and AAC files.

2. How can I know my recording is going on?
Check if there are audio curves in the curve display area. The line keeps still in the bottom of the area means there¡¯s no sound input. please check your setting or hardware connection.

3. How to name a recorded file?
Set the rules for automatic naming. Click "Output File" Button to name the recorded files as X+date+time. Then choose to add number to the file name or overwrite the file if a filename is the same as the existed one.

4. How to rename a recorded file?
You may right-click on recordings in the list, from there you can playback the recordings, rename audio file or delete individual recordings.

5. Why can't record from microphone?
(1) Make sure your microphone works well. If your microphone has never worked, or it stopped working, first check the physical connection of the microphone. Verify that it is firmly plugged into the microphone port instead of the headphone or speaker port. If you are not sure which port is correct, you can check the sound card to see if it is marked (sometimes with a picture of a microphone), you can use a process of elimination, check the documentation that came with your hardware, or contact the hardware manufacturer.
(2) Make sure your recording settings are correct. You need to select "Microphone" from the source devices list on the main window.
(3) Make sure you didn't mute Microphone.

6. Can Linren Sound Recorder edit MP3 ID3 Tags?
Linren Sound Recorder help you to organize your mp3s. With Linren Sound Recorder you can easily edit ID3 tags and keeping your musical collection in good order. Click "Edit ID3" button to edit your mp3 id3 tags.

7. What's the limitation of trial version?
The trial version will Only no more than record 40 seconds.

8. My file is too big. How to reduce its file size?
You may choose a suitable format according to your needs. If you need CD quality music, WAV format will be your choice for sure. If you need to record audios of average quality, MP3 or OGG will be fine. But if you want to record news broadcasting, speech, greetings and so on, OGG and MP3 will provide you smaller sized files suitable for saving and sending.

9. I set the schedules to record new broadcasting. But I got nothing. Why?
Please make sure
1) the program is opened;
2) your computer is connected to the internet;
3) your schedule has been set correctly;
4) Your audio source is on and is in good status.
Do not close the program or turn off your computer if you want to record by schedules.

10. How to extract music from movie?
you may play your VCD/DVD with a player then save the sound into MP3/WAV/G726/OGG with our Linren Sound Recorder.

11. How to convert music from tape cassettes?
You need only a device for transferring the sound from your tape cassettes to your computer and then record it.

12. How to record Internet News or Radio Station on the Internet?
Sometimes, you want to record sound from the Internet News or Internet Radio Station, you may launch the Linren Sound Recorder, set the file name for saving, Add the schedules for recording, wait for the result.

13. How to record as long time as I like?
If you are using a full version of the Linren Sound Recorder, it would allow your record as long time as you like only if the free hard disk space enough. If you are using a trial/evaluation version, it has a 40 seconds time limitation, on this case, you need to buy a registration code from us to register it to remove the limitation.

14. What's the hotkey to record/stop?
You can use hotkey "Ctrl+Alt+R" to start a recording, use hotkey "Ctrl+Alt+S" to stop recording.

15. Some recordings have a noticeable crackly sound, how to fix it?
 Please make sure that recording volume has been set an appropriate value. Please don't put your "Recording Volume" too high, for the higher the volume, the more the noise, the bad quality the file. You'd better do some test recording to adjust the "Recording Volume" to appropriate value.

1. What is Linren MP3 CD Burner?
Linren MP3 CD Burner is a hip software tool that helps you to create normal audio CDs from your favorite MP3 and WAV files. You can then play them in your regular stereo or car CD player!

2. How to install Linren MP3 CD Burner?

You can burn maximum 100 songs on a CD. However, about 13 - 20 songs can be burned because the normal CD can only hold 74 minutes of audio.

6. Since the CD-R has 650M space and one MP3 file takes only 4-5MB, can I burn 120 MP3s on a CD-R?
No, because the audio data is compressed in MP3 file but the normal CD doesn't compress it, the MP3 files will be decompressed before being writing to CD-R. You can burn 74 minutes of audio (about 60M MP3 files) in one CD. 

7. Can I append songs to a burned Audio CD since it still has some free space? 
No, Linren MP3 CD Burner writes audio CD in Disk-At-Once mode and the CD will be closed when finishing burning. Nothing can be appended any more. So burn all the tracks in one time.

8. Can I use CD-RW media to create Audio CD so I can reuse it next time?
Yes, you can burn MP3s to CD-RW media. However, the normal CD players and some CD-ROM can't recognize the CD-RW media. You can't listen the burned CD-RW with your Hi-Fi or car CD player.
